Solution: Eureka Bottle Puzzle 4

This is the solution for the Eureka Bottle Puzzle 4.

This puzzle is not very hard because there are not so many possible actions. Nevertheless, it can give many some high stress level because it requires some agility skills… stay Zen!

Solution steps:

  1. Eureka Bottle puzzle 4 - step 1
The first move already requires some agility. You have to fit the ring inside the hole that is on the side of the wood stick as shown by arrow 1. Once the ring is in, pull the stick out of the bottle until the ring is outside (arrow 2).
  2. Eureka Bottle puzzle 4 - step 2
Get the ring out of the stick hole (arrow 1) and keep it outside the bottle while you push the stick back in (arrow 2).
  3. Eureka Bottle puzzle 4 - step 3
Pass the ring around the top of the wood stick as shown by arrow 1. Make sure that the rope that is stuck between the ring and the stick is the part that goes down to the small ball and not anymore to the large one. Pull the stick out (arrow 2) while sliding the ring along the stick to have it as low as possible on it.
  4. Eureka Bottle puzzle 4 - step 4
Free the ring inside the bottle by shaking the stick or using the glass border to push it completely out of the stick.
  5. Eureka Bottle puzzle 4 - step 5
New agility test: Make the ring enter the wood hole again.
  6. Eureka Bottle puzzle 4 - step 6
Slide the stick outside the bottle again to completely free the ring.

Eureka Bottle puzzle 4 - step 7

To put it back in place, you can execute the steps backward. The step 4 is extremely difficult ! Managing to have the free ring from the bottom of the bottle around the small ball is quite easy. But succeeding to fit the ring around the stick is a true challenge (especially that it must go up enough to be picked once the stick is pulled out of the bottle). For people who are driven too crazy, as the ring is in fact a keyring, it is easy to bind it immediately on the rope (on the big ball side) and to push it back inside the bottle using the hole in the stick.
